Education in Occupational Therapy
We teach specialized technology based on scientific knowledge and thought, and educate occupational therapists (OT) with high maturity and an international sense in cooperation with our sister school, Colorado State University (CSU).
Furthermore, we aim to improve personnel training which can play an active part in a community as well as health, medical treatment and welfare institutions.
Health, medical treatment and welfare of the 21st century vary with aging and a decrease in birthrate. A human can suffer mental and physical disabilities in everyday life for some periods during a lifetime. For such, OT is concerned with mental and physical handicapped people from infancy to senile state. And OT tries to rid those inconveniences of everyday life and a social life and gives support to make the whole process of living easier. Even if functional and structural disorder remains in mind and body, it is the work of OT that appropriates support for a patient not to have disorder in everyday life.
Our faculty use advanced knowledge and technology and nurture the OT who acquire affection and common sense. In addition, it is important to improve the practical abilities in field work. Therefore this faculty cooperates with clinical supervisors who have studied occupational therapy for specialty improvement, and there is reflection of this in the way we bring up of our students as a result.
Society becomes complicated, and people live in a stress-full environment now. Many people know the philosophy of occupational therapy and occupational therapeutics, and we consult with a patient and make a precise decision and demand the talented person who can offer service of high quality.
You, with likelihood, don’t have a limit to the future! We require participation in the field of everyone’s health / medical treatment / welfare to change it into relief from anxiety, into hope from despair, for the people who suffer from a disorder in mind and body. Please access this world spreading out from occupational therapeutics!
